Glute AI Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy applies where laws governing “consumer health data” apply to Glute AI. It is separate from the general Glute AI Privacy Policy.

1. Consumer Health Data We May Collect
Depending on the features you choose to use, consumer health data may include:
- height and weight;
- fitness goals and training preferences;
- workout performance, strength, adherence, and progression history;
- information about physical limitations or exercise accommodations you choose to provide;
- body or glute scan photos;
- visual progress photos;
- scan-derived observations and progress comparisons;
- nutrition goals, calorie, protein, or macro targets;
- meal information and meal photos;
- Apple Health / HealthKit data that you expressly authorize;
- inferences generated from this information to provide requested Glute AI features.
2. Sources
We may collect consumer health data:
- directly from you;
- from photos you choose to capture or upload;
- from Apple Health only after you grant system permission;
- from devices or services you intentionally connect;
- from service providers that return analysis you requested.
Glute AI does not purchase consumer health data from data brokers.
3. Why We Collect and Use Consumer Health Data
We may use consumer health data to:
- personalize workout plans and progression;
- provide requested scan and visual-progress features;
- provide Fuel and nutrition features;
- display strength, adherence, and progress history;
- provide customer support you request;
- maintain security and prevent abuse;
- comply with law.
We do not use consumer health data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Consumer Health Data We May Share
We may share the minimum consumer health data reasonably necessary with processors that help us provide a feature you request.
Depending on the feature, this may include:
- a body or meal image submitted for requested analysis;
- limited identifiers needed to associate a processor response with your request;
- cloud-hosted fitness or progress information needed to operate the Services.
5. Categories of Recipients
Consumer health data may be processed by service providers in categories such as:
- cloud hosting, database, and private storage providers;
- AI or computer-vision processors used for a user-requested analysis;
- customer-support providers where support access is necessary.
Apple and RevenueCat may receive purchase and entitlement information, but Glute AI does not intentionally send body-scan images or raw consumer health content to billing providers.
Analytics and crash-reporting systems are designed to exclude raw scan images, HealthKit readings, and other highly sensitive consumer health content from their payloads.
Glute AI has no affiliates that independently use consumer health data for their own purposes unless this Policy is updated to identify them and any consent required by law is obtained.
6. Consent
Where required by applicable law, Glute AI obtains consent before collecting or sharing consumer health data for the specified purpose.
Where required, sharing consumer health data with a third-party AI or computer-vision processor is subject to a separate disclosure or permission.
You may withdraw consent for future collection or sharing covered by that consent by contacting privacy@glute.ai or by using any applicable in-app privacy control.
7. Sale
Glute AI does not sell consumer health data.
If Glute AI ever proposes a practice that legally constitutes a sale of consumer health data, we will not begin that practice without satisfying the authorization requirements of applicable law.
8. Your Rights
Where applicable, you may have the right to:
- confirm whether Glute AI collects, shares, or sells your consumer health data;
- access consumer health data we maintain about you;
- obtain information about the third parties or affiliates receiving it;
- withdraw consent;
- request deletion;
- appeal certain denied requests.

We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
9. Deletion
Where required by law, a valid deletion request will be applied to consumer health data in active systems and communicated to relevant processors or contractors.
Data in backups may take additional time to age out where permitted by law. Data deleted from active systems will not be intentionally restored into active use from a backup after a valid deletion request.
10. Security
Glute AI uses safeguards designed for the sensitivity of consumer health data, which may include:
- private storage;
- encryption in transit;
- access controls;
- short-lived authorized links;
- logging redaction;
- processor restrictions;
- deletion controls;
- incident-response procedures.
No service can guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes
If Glute AI intends to collect, use, or share new categories of consumer health data, or use existing consumer health data for a materially different purpose, we will update this Policy and obtain any consent required by applicable law before beginning the new practice.
